Watch Out, BOSS!

eBossWatch according to the site has been created to “help others about a nightmare Boss, or recommend a great Boss”. eBossWatch rates your boss on a 6 point scale on the following parameters:

  • I feel like there is open and honest communication between my boss and me.
  • I feel like my boss cares about me as a person.
  • I feel like my boss cares about my career development.
  • I trust and respect my boss.
  • I like working for my boss.
  • I recommend this person as a good boss to work for.

If you are a Boss, I am sure you hate this!!
The site does not openly show reviews unless you know the name or company and it will be a good read if we can openly browse and read reviews… :) If you are in college and still not experienced a Boss, you can rate your Professors as well at RateMyProfessors.

JobReferrals at its best!

Just stumbled across another useful site, JobReferrals.in which is dedicated to Employee Referrals. So how does this work

Job Holders

  • Post internal vacancies in your teams , organization
  • Chose the best candidates from the job seeking members database
  • Collect resumes from employee profiles and refer them to your organization
  • Help your organization recruit best people and get rewarded with referral bonus!

Job Seekers

  • Browse job vacancies in organizations of your choice
  • Browse through the profiles of site members of the organization of your choice
  • Send them your resumes and get referred internally
  • Read reviews of the organizations , and make an informed decision regarding a career move
  • Read domain reviews, and find out what people have to say about a particular career stream they have been in.

Organizations

  • Organizations can advertise for open positions & they will be indicated as a featured item in the vacancies section. As a premium member posting, it will carry more credibility and visibility than the user submitted vacancies.

What I don’t like:

  1. Usability
  2. Google Advertisements which interupt healthy browsing
  3. PR / Marketing – I hope my post helps

JobReferrals might not directly monetize you directly like how frontFoot & NDTVJobs, but you surely can earn you referral Bonus from your employer… :)
