10 Signs You Are Getting Fired

The economy is at an all time low and companies would have to cut down costs to survive and to ensure that the financial losses are cut down. Here are some signs that will help you evaluate if you are in the hit list or not. If yes, I suggest you start working on your resume right away.

  1. Have you been asked to take an unpaid vacation?
  2. Has your boss been fired ?
  3. If your department is being downsized ?
  4. Have you been given a promotion with a position of lesser responsibility?
  5. Have you been in the bad books of your mentor / superior / supervisor ?
  6. You don’t have friends in office
  7. You have not got any encouraging words from your manager during the performance appraisal process
  8. Your company has been indicating reorganize its strategy and promoting outsourcing
  9. You have been given projects with a strict time line and is impossible to achieve
  10. Your subordinate gets a mail for what you are responsible for!

If most of the questions are moving towards the negative front, I suggest you start looking at alternate options.

Simply Hired, the vertical search engine company  launches their operations in India at www.simplyhired.co.in. Simply Hired is a job aggregator and will ensure that you do not miss a single opportunity that may exist. Do you know the Salary of your peer at Google, Microsoft or Glassdoor is a tool that helps you build your career and a workplace community where you can anonymously share Company reviews, ratings, Salary information vis-a-vis position and also rate the company’s CEO for free :)

Glassdoor was in Beta since 2007 and is now out Beta. Glassdoor intends to help employees, potential job seekers and recruiters simultaneously. Glassdoor is not just another tool that is all American. The top most countries information are India (ranked 4), UK (Ranked 3) and Austraila (Full List here).
